Parkland Covid Guidelines
April 14, 2021
Dear Parents,
In this ever-changing situation of COVID, we are going to join the communities of Blueberry, Devon, and Muir Lake in providing soccer and/or baseball starting the first week of May.
Due to the current health restrictions, we are however having to change a few things:
- If your child or anyone in your home is sick or has been a direct contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID - please stay home.
- We ask to limit the spectators to one per child. Please have a mask in case social distancing is not possible.
- Each group will have a max of 10. This includes participants and coach(es).
- Contact tracing will be necessary should a case happen and therefore attendance will need to be recorded.
- Every field or diamond will have hand sanitizer, we ask that you instruct your child to use it.
- While arriving and departing from the event we ask that the spectator and participant wear a mask.
- NO GAMES will be played at this time, only skills, drills and activities that allow for social distancing and no sharing of equipment (unless it can be properly sanitized)
Please confirm with your community representative that your child still wishes to play this season.
Also remember that this situation is constantly changing, and we ask for your continued patience in helping us plan a safe way for children to be active this spring.
All the Best,
Parkland Fun Ball & Soccer
